Back to Index

E.A.P. is defined as a worksite based program designed to assist in the identification and resolution of productivity problems associated with employees impaired by personal concerns including, but not limited to: health, marital, family, financial, alcohol, drug, gambling, legal, stress problems, or other personal concerns which may adversly affect the employee's job preformance.

The E.A.P. is a strictly confidential program. Employees with alcoholism, drug dependency, emotional, or personal problems will be able to seek help voluntarily without having to be concerned that their employment status will be affected because they have sought help for such problems. If you find you need assistance, you can seek help by calling the Union Hall at 319-233-3049 / 1-800-636-1180 or by contacting your committeeman.
